Large (75%)Bishop's Message--Anniversary of PA Grand Jury ReportNo

Diocese of Greensburg

In remembrance of the 1-year anniversary of the release of the 2018 PA Grand Jury Report, Bishop Malesic has released a video statement.

Bishop Malesic has called for a Day of Prayer throughout the Diocese of Greensburg on Wednesday, August 14. All parish churches in the Diocese of Greensburg will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for private prayer with a special intention for those who have been abused and for the healing of the Church. On August 14, 2018, the Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report on Clergy Abuse was released to the public. This Day of Prayer is part of many efforts to try to help survivors, their families and our parishioners get through this time of suffering.

A letter from Bishop Malesic to parisioners of the diocese will be included in all bulletins on the weekend of August 17-18.  It can also be read in its entirety on the Diocese of Greensburg's website.
