Live Nativity December 13-14 at Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent
We will hold a live Nativity Friday, December 13, from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm and Saturday, December 14, from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm. Guests can drive or walk through. Caroling, a bonfire and refreshments are planned. A free-will offering will be collected for Catholic Charities’ Children/Family Services Fund. See you there!!

Donations Needed for Live Nativity
We are accepting donations for the Live Nativity on December 13 and 14. We could use cookies (bought or homemade), candy, hot cocoa mix, coffee, Christmas plates/napkins, small/large marshmallows, etc. Please place donations in the Server Sacristy. Monetary donations can be dropped off in the office.
Volunteers are also needed. Please contact the office with any questions.
Pierogi now available for the Holiday Season!
Our delicious homemade “potato – cheese” pierogi are available for you to add to your Advent, Christmas and New Year’s tables! You can purchase these frozen, ready to cook treats for $14 per 2 dozen bag. Call our Parish Office at 724.479.3881 for details and ordering.
Ice Skating – Youth Ministry Event!
All Middle & High Schoolers! Join us for a fun a afternoon of ice skating, food, and fellowship with friends!

Location: S & T Bank Arena, Indiana
Cost: Free, just bring a snack or drink to share – Skate rentals are included.

Update on Tile/Carpet Installation in Church
The church plans on starting installation of tile on December 9, 2024. The tile will be placed in the counter aisle and in front of the Sanctuary/Altar.
The carpeting start date will be December 16, 2024. Carpeting will be placed under the chairs and side aisles.
Installation will stop on December 20, 2024 to prepare the church for Christmas.
Please note that daily Mass and Adoration will take place in the church basement.
Saturday and Sunday Mass will be held in the church.
K of C Coats for Kids
The Knights of Columbus have distributed 22 coats to children at the Homer Center Schools as part of the Coats for Kids program. Coats are available to be given to children of any age including high school students. This is a county wide program for anyone in need. They do not have to be members of our churches. The program continues throughout the winter. Please contact any Knight or the Church office.
