Bishop Kulick  – Lenten Evening of Reflection

Join Bishop Larry J. Kulick on Monday, March 4 at 6 p.m. for a Lenten Evening of Reflection here at Church of the Good Shepherd Parish.  The topic of Bishop Kulick’s reflection is “Stop Making My
Father’s House a Marketplace”.

Bishop Kulick will travel across the four counties of the Diocese this Lent, offering the faithful an opportunity to participate in one or in all five in this reflection series. You can see all the reflections at DioceseofGreensburg.org/lenten-reflections.

Fourth Annual Knight at the Races

The Knights of Columbus will be selling tickets for their upcoming “Knight at the Races #4” to be held on April 6, 2024.  The fundraiser will be held at the Graceton-Coral Sportsman’s Club.  Tickets are $25 and include a buffet meal and refreshments.  Sponsor a horse for $10 and if your horse wins, you win $50.

Tickets will be sold after each Mass during the month of March.  If anyone would like to donate a basket for the basket raffle, please see a Knight after Mass.

Lenten Dinner Volunteers and Desserts

Please consider volunteering for some (or all) of our Lenten Dinners as part of your Lenten Sacrifices – it takes many hands to make everything work.  Even if you can’t work the dinner itself, we need volunteers for preparation on Thursday evening and Friday Morning and cleanup afterwards. If you are able to volunteer OR to help make any of our DESSERTS, please sign up in the Narthex.

Eucharistic Services

Eucharistic Services will be held on Thursdays only (while Fr. Dino is on vacation), through February 29.  All are Welcome. The times are:

8:00 am — SS Simon and Jude
9:30 am — Church of the Good Shepherd.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to help clean parish hall and kitchen in preparation for our Lenten Dinners that start on Friday, February 16.  Many hands makes light the load.  Thank You.
