In-person CGS registration K-12 graders on Saturday, Sunday August 27, 28 2022 after 4:30 pm /10:30 am Mass.
We will also include a Parent meeting for Reconciliation, 1st Holy Communion 2nd graders and up and Confirmation registration 8th graders and Adults.

A Confirmation Retreat will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 for Candidates and their Family members from 1:00 pm – 4:15 pm. This retreat will include opportunities for food, fellowship, prayer, the
Sacrament of Reconciliation, and breakout activities to reinforce themes about the Sacrament of Confirmation.
2022 Sacrament of Confirmation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Ss. Simon &
Jude Parish, Blairsville; This celebration will be for all candidates from surrounding parishes and will be
celebrated by Bishop Larry J. Kulick.
Golden Wedding Anniversary Recognition
Bishop Kulick desires to recognize all couples celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary during the calendar year 2022. The Jubilarians, their children, relatives or friends should contact the parish office to register couples for this recognition. Ideally, the Jubilarians will be invited to join the bishop for a special Golden Wedding Anniversary Mass to be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Even though personal circumstances may not permit individuals to participate in the Mass, all registered couples will receive a scroll signed by the bishop commemorating their anniversary.
Catholic Charities Seeks Donations of Baby Clothing, Diapers
Catholic Charities is requesting donations of diapers (sizes 4-6) and new clothing in boys’ sizes newborn, 3 months and 9-12 months and girls’ sizes 12 months, 18 months and 24 months. To donate, call 724-837-1840 to schedule a drop-off time at 711 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg.

Bishop Larry J. Kulick asks the faithful of the Diocese of Greensburg to assist Ukraine and its people by praying for them as this tragic conflict unfolds. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has released a list of reputable Catholic agencies collecting donations to aid people as they flee to escape Russian bombing and shelling.
